Once you've received your welcome email, we recommend you use Installatron to install whatever scripts you need. This will give you a nice jumpstart towards building your site.
If you are transferring from another host, we would still recommend using Installatron to install your script, then copy the database over from your other provider (assuming you are on the same version) so that you can get the benefit of an Installatron installation and upgrade management.
After your site is created or transferred, it is really important that you place the appropriate ad tags per our ad tag policy.

All fansites on the network are required to include at least two ads, one above the fold. All sites are audited on a daily basis. If you do not comply, your site will be suspended for 3 days. After 3 days, your site will be deleted.
"Above the fold" is a concept in web design referring to location of an item near the top of a web page, which can thus be viewed in a browser without scrolling. Some web marketers have called this "above the crease" referring to the way in which newspapers of yesteryear were folded and creased.
